I have been looking in the SGN and have seen the adds for the romanian ak's. Are these rifles imported and american parts added? Are they a good buy for around $330 at the gun shows. I haven't owned an ak since the 1989 ban. Started looking at my options that are available. Are the rifles built on american recievers such as victor good rifles?  Need opinions on what to buy and what to look for. Thanks, Gunman

they are imported as single stack rifles, then have US parts added and the magwell opened when they hit our shores.  they work pretty well, they are a bit on the ugly side fit and finish wise, but the price is right.

Are the vector brand rifles good ones? Any problems with them?

vector makes a good product, they cost more than the WASR rifles from Romania but the increased price is worth it
