Hi guys I wanna show off my new toy Mike aka -Duke-Nukem- did for me.

Its an Unissued Bulgy 74 kit with a Romanian Push button folder Installed . Think it came out great .

If your on the fence about getting someone to build up one of your kits for you dont hesitate to use them. This is my second build from them.

Looks good.  I just emailed with Duke last night about my next AK.  I'll be seeing him here in about a week or so with my new parts kit as soon as I get it.   I hope.

Yeah kinda a mixed verdict on the tan pg . I think I will pick up one that is more brown .

Got so many black pg Ak's needed to get some diversity.

Kit bought before all the ban talk on them so paid a lot less than what they are going for now.

Price Break down :
Unissued Kit     $199
Armory 1.0 Rec$60
FCG                   $28
Gas Piston        $20
PG                     $10
Build Cost         $250ish

Bah! Don't let them get ya down.
Quite frankly I'm inspired. The tan grip didn't interest me, but after seeing yours I think with blond wood and the saddle tan mag it would be...

Hey Duke- 2 questions for you

Do you guys have any experience in building 100 series rifles from say a romanian AKM Kit. Specifically an AK103K? And also I have an SA-85 kit and a Bulgarian AK74 kit im looking to have built into complete rifles. IM in NY so i have to have the bayo lug rails sheered off and muzzle brakes permanently attached tothe barrel. Would all that stuff be included in the $200 build price?

That wood is beautiful just the way it is.  I didn't have to touch the furniture, I just left it alone.  MDN did you get a chance to test fire?  Did you like how it shot?

P.S. We put it on our webpage, along with your underfolder.  Look under "AK kit assembly".

Yeah the wood furniture on the Bulgys is really nice.

I'm going to try and get out Sunday hopefully and give it a go.

Man my guns are Famous :)

I agree the wood looks great! You need a matching wood pistol grip and it would look perfect.

That's a good looking AK 74.  It seems like a good deal in terms of labor charges.

I just had Global Trades built a Bulgy 74 folder on one of their receivers. Paid well over $400 labor and it won't even take a mag.  Finish is great but over $400 labor and the gun won't function.  Also gave him a matching kit but it no longer matches.  maybe I should try Missouri Custom next time.

MDN...that is 1 sweet rifle...like the color. I just bought 3 grips: tan, choco, and rosewood( just spray painted that Rosewood into OD green)

 Duke...Great Job!

Yes..I left that grip near the fireplace...after the "heat treatment", it has a white film on the surface...kinda ugly...Now, it is OD Green......lol
