Couple extra C-notes will get you a nice Krinkov with fake suppressor.

I have seen some pre-bans on gunbroker around that range down from the $1200 to $1500 during the time of the AWB.

Krebs Custom has some really nice stuff.   Might want to look at a Vepr while ya there.

The ARSENAL SA-M7 is a real nice rifle. I have put over a thousand rounds through this gun and not one jam or failure to feed. There is only one small issue to report with the SA-M7.  On one shooting occasion I loaded up 5 fourty round magazines and then proceeded to bumpfire them all as fast as I could. I put 200 rounds through the gun in less than a minute! The barrel started smoking heavily and that is when I noticed that the finish on the barrel was boiling-bubbling. When you look at the rifle now, you can see where the bubbles were.  After I was done, I said "that was awsome" and then loaded up the magazines and made the barrel boil again! I have alot of fun banging off AK rounds with a smoking barrel! I would highly reccomend any ARSENAL AK. I bought a Vector underfolder AK and I am disappointed with the quality of the rifle. Plus the Vector is a stamped reciever and the magazines seem to click in not to easy, the SA-M7 is a milled reciever and the magazines fit in so nice. I can't speak on any other AKs, though if I were to purchase another it would be a VEPR.

So the arsenal's have a painted finish?  Which AK tends to have the most durable finish?  I know the Chinese versions have blue and we all know that's fairly durable.
