It's the piece of shit magazine, not the rifle.
The US made "waffle" mags are made by Pro-Mag. They are not mil spec and are a waste of money. They took an Arsenal Bulgaria polymer magazine and tried to copy it. They did a very poor job and I can tell you that there might very well be some legal wrangling. Stick to foreign military magazines and you won't have any trouble. Polymer 7.62x39mm magazines that are available here in the US that work are the original Arsenal Bulgaria magazine, which has a 10 in a double circle on it, and the Polish smooth sided polymer magazine. The Russians also have a polymer magazine for the AK-103 but they are extremely rare and expensive here in the US. Pic of the real Bulgarian magazine:

Thx Templar, I'm sure it is the magazines, since the rifle works perfectly with the VEPR ones (and with the 5 rnds that came with the rifle). The VEPR seems to work fine with the shitty magazine, with zero FTF in about 120 rounds.

Those mags have been sent to me by an online shop because of a mistake they did (sending me different stuff, and myself having to ship it back). I guess it wasn't enough having done a mistake, they really had to make two PS: I lived 5 years at 30 miles from the Ferrari farm  - Ice |

Hmm, KVAR lists them in stock, as manufactured by Arsenal, Bulgaria, but they don't thave that mark. Are those fake Bulgarian that will choke like the Pro-Mag ones? KVAR Bulgy - Ice |

The mark is on the left side of the magazine, not the right hand side.
K-Var/Arsenal Inc./Arsenal Bulgaria are all affiliated. They will only sell the real deal. |
