SEAK III is now closed and production scheduled to begin after Knob Creek. InRange is making arrangements to pickup the kits and fake cans from Ohio Rapid Fire.
Armory USA receivers had a 2-3 week slip due to manufacturing problems at Armory USA. Photos and production updates will be posted here as they occur. KF |

2-3 week slip? on these receivers or should I worry about my underfolder receiver I ordered three weeks ago? thanks.
The SEAK III receivers were delayed 2-3 weeks due to a Heat Treating Process/Operation Machine problem at Armory USA. Plus they had a hurricane to weather through. How that effects everyone elses receivers I have no idea. You will need to call Jimmy at Armory USA.

thanks for the reply on the OT question.
I had talked to Jennifer 2 days before Rita was supposed to hit. She told me it would be 3 weeks with the Hurricane Delay. I am going to have to call to see if the "regular" type receivers were delayed further for the same reasons as the SEAK III receivers. thanks, |

I think that I saw mine in the pic. (proud parent of soon to be in his posession Krink)

Kits are being transferred at Knob Creek today. Should be able to get a few more pics of the transfer, plus some closeups.
So I take it that it's too late to get in on The SEAK offer? If there's a way to place an order now, please let me know.Thanks.

See- I knew you'd be ok even though you were worried about some problem with the receivers. I called Stephanie and found out that there was absolutely nothing to worry about after all.
I didn't spend too much time on the ORF site, but under the firearms tab, did you just link to each manufacturer's webpage somehow? Each one that I checked comes up differently- I only looked at H&K, Glock, Colt and Beretta and they were all very different. Glock's was in 5 languages, H&K's was very simple, Colt's didn't seem like more than three posters (probably links) and I didn't even wait for Beretta's to load. Does ORF sell all of those makes of firearms or is it just a set of links for reference? Where do I find their pricing? Sorry I am getting so OT... |

Spoke with Sellars today. He got back from Knob Creek mid-day on Sunday and I thought I would give him a break before I started quizzing him on the project.
They transferred the kits late Saturday Night after dinner at El Tarascos in Shepherdsville, and he unpacked them this morning. He took a bunch of photos this morning to post in the diary. I will probably get them via email later, and post tonight. Still waiting on the receivers to be finished at Armory USA and the fake cans being manufactured at Ohio Rapid Fire. Stay tuned. KF |

Likely a dumb question, but will the bolt be white or black? In the pic it looks sort of green.
No way I am not going to SBR that!
Confirming that they are being shipped with the origional muzzle attachment? It's cool that you can have it and shoot it with the fake can until the paperwork clears, unlike a real can or mg that someone else holds for you. |
Any chance that we could get the pertinent info for form 1 submission for our respective order as soon as the receivers hit the loading dock ? I'm so impatient about these that I wouldn't mind getting a few weeks jump on mailing in the paperwork.
I also still haven't received any confirmation of receipt of my order-cashier's check-FFL . Inrange email doesn't work Could someone drop me an quick email verifying everythings ok? Delivery FFL is located in Alaska 99669. s & p |
I will call InRange and see if they will post the pertinent info required for those that want to submit SBR paperwork.
Yes. The original muzzle attachment is being sent with the weapon. |
Mr. Spray-n-pray. We did receiver your deposit. I sent you an e-mail and it must have bounced as well.
As soon as the receivers get here we will contact the form one people and give them their serial number. |
I was thinking the same thing |
Wait on the rest of the cash if you can. I talked to Armory today and we are still waiting on receivers.
which can are we going with again? The bigger one or the smaller PB5 can? I thought we settled on the PB5?
Is there any chance that Troy could guesstimate how long we might be looking at between the time he has the cans and receivers in hand, and the time to final billing? This information would be very helpful to me for near-term budgeting.
As soon as I receive the receivers, production will begin at once. They will be built and shipped ten at a time. I would estimate twenty the frist week and ten the second. We will have some more photos tonight as well.
Thanks, Troy |
It's funny how that looks incorrect but is actually correct... |
What's the 'current' ETA on the recievers? I know that can/will change.
I thank God for the technology that allows me to see my baby before birth! She is so cute. I can't wait to hold her close to me, feed her warm ammo and clean her when she soils herself. It brings tears to my eyes. Excuse me, I gotta go have a cry.
I'm sorry but some of you guys are just sick!! Just kidding. I know what it is like to wait for a new toy. We are as far as we can go until we get receivers. I talked to Jimmy today and they are at heat treat. We are closed for inventory next week. It would be great to have them when we get started the following Mon.
Okay, I give up-- it's been a week-- has anyone heard anything??
Failing that: could you tell us what year range the kits are in? |
They are all closed up this week |
