Impressions? Do they work? It's alot of money for a mag, so would they be worth purchasing?

I only used the Polish Beryl mags in my 5.56mm (they are perfect) but I decided to try out the converted 5.45mm bakelite that came with it. It ran fine, no problems. Slightly loose fit, compared to Beryl and Bulgy waffles.

Hopefully Tantal will get those Beryl mags back in stock sometime soon............I hear that they are expensive, but well worth the cost

Use the EG or Bulgy mags w/ the Robarm followers and they will work 100%. Weigers are also good.

How about Clear Bulgarian .223 AK Waffle Mags, for $39.95 each, is this a fair price for these?

NH,
You have some? That sounds like a fair price to me.........I would buy them at that price

The Robinson Arms AK-74 convert .223 mags run fine.

The new Bulgarian "clear" mags lack the usual metal reinforcement. I consider them junk and ugly as hell. Someone vomited green puke into the plastic.

That top picture looks like it melted a bit or is deformed, you're correct in that those don't look too impressive close up.
