Hello, I have purchased my first AK, it is a romanian that shoots great but the front sight has to be drifted over to shoot POA, it looks like there is a barrel nut in frt of the sight, my question is can I loosen that nut and turn the sight a little?

Thanks,
Jerry

Nope.

You have to drift out the 2 pins holding the fSB in place and then shift the sight.  Then redrill the holes just a tad larger and install larger pins.

Get An AK site tool and drift the round drum over to adjust windage.  Some people just use a C clamp and a socket to do this.  Only adjust your whole site base in worst case senerio when it is canted.
