Nice!  I have two friends that race, and they are trying to get me to get a new road bike.  But, I just spent $1,400 on a new TV today, so my discretionary funds are a bit low.

Remember, the more you ride the bike the lower the cost per mile!

Where'd you get your parts kit for that thing?

Just think man....YOU Coulda Had A GUN!! A really nice one too.

I think that all the time when I make a major purchase. I just look at whatever new piece of crap I bought for a computer or tv and think to myself...I could have had a thousand rounds of 7.62x39 for what you cost me....

Well if you devote enough time and money into all your hobbies you'll be a happy man.

Think of it this way: At least you can get some good exercise on it. Which intern may save you money on health related costs in the future and with that money YOU CAN BUY MORE GUNS!!!
Wow, I am really bad off with this gun disorder......

I've never understood road bikes or people who ride them. But maybe if I rode one once. However that is a very nice looking bike. Congrats!

BTW, I think I'm going to be in the same boat here shortly. I just priced a $1200 stereo setup for my car. I have a funny feeling I'll be getting it in a couple of weeks. And if I can afford that, then I can afford that darned $1000 - $1500 digital camera I've been eyeballing. I have a funny feeling I'll be buy it next spring. Right after I get the stereo paid off.

Not to bad... I'm a fat tire freak myself but I've been known to spend a little time on 700c's as well. Don't really do the time trial riding, I like the group rides, mostly when I'm near the back of the pack with a bunch of the local triathalon chicks.

BTW, is that an Ultegra group (parts kit) on there?

Well, in staying with the theme, here is a pic from the archive.

Very nice!  I just bought a new Trek X01 for commuting between here and Norfolk.  While I'm not a tri-athlete (I race road and mountain bikes) I do love Kestrels!

To quote Bobby Hill from "King of the Hill". "Daddy,... I want a gunrack on my bike!"

Not a Triathielet, I just ride alot.  Todays ride was 100 miles, 94 degrees with strong headwinds.
It sucked.  After I take a nap I think I'll clean my Romy, nice indoor activitie.

You're probably one of the rare ArfCom commandoes who can still see his own feet.

I'll second that. Though with gas prices like they are, maybe his is on to something!

You've got your priorities all messed up.....

But on the other hand, like said before you'd be one of the few who shoots and still fit to do it on the move.

Like the old doctrine goes, if your not shooting you should be reloading.....if you're not reloading you should be moving.

p.s. Nice bicycle, Kestrel's are among the finest......
