I have chance to buy a 95% condition Valmet 71s for 950. Being an AR & M1A owner I know nothing what this would be worth. Any help would be appreciated.

That sounds like a fair price, if it's in .223. If it's 7.62X39, it's an even better deal.

Granted, I'm no Valmet pro, and I'm someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks everyone for the replys. It is a 223 w/wood buttstock. Unfortunatly it only has 1 factory mag, been searching around and those babys are pricy! That is compared to AR & M14 Mags.

Have you tried cdnninvestments.com for mags?

If there are other mags that are adaptable, I am not aware of them. No need to lecture a fellow AR owner on the very straight 5.56 round being fussy on feed angle
