Well guys, this is most likely one of the last Tammy threads. She's leaving the shop and so won't be available anytime I've got the camera handy. There may very well be more range day shoots though.
Tammy wanted to say thank you to Kevin_M4 for so graciously sending her an AR15.com T Shirt. That was way above and beyond and she really appreciated it. Here's the previous thread. www.ak47.net/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=64&t=73650&page=1 So......I took Tammy and her boyfriend to the range today. Beyond handling the rifles in the shop, Tammy had very little actual rifle shooting experience, but she did just great. In true Darkside fashion, she preferred my Arsenal Inc. SLR-105A1 AK-74 to my Old School Colt AR-15 SP-1 Carbine.  As always guys, please keep the responses respectfull, Tammy is a good sport and was doing this in good fun. It was hot and muggy out there but I think a good time was had by all. I have hi-res pics if anyone "needs" them  .So.......here we go: The shirt, the girl, the AK-74!      With the Colt AR-15 SP-1 Carbine. If you look carefully you can see the brass flying out of the rifle.     Tammy's beau Joe with my '74.  One hot range officer/Wookie/Infidel with his StG-58A.  At the end of the 5.45mm ammo, Joe remarks to Tammy "Honey, I think we need one of these." Tammy replies "I don't know about 'we', but I sure need one of these!".....true story!

Tammy also got some time in on both a Glock 19 and my SIG P226. She did better with the P226, mostly because the grip wasn't nearly as slippery and it has a better trigger.
Glock 19 with a Glock 18 magazine in it..........   And with my SIG P226......

You know AK-74's look so much better than the AR-15. AR's almost look sickly or something when you can see them together, like they need to eat a cheeseburger or two without going into the bathroom to throw up after. LOL just an observation.

Tammy's stance and cheek weld looked awkward with the AK-74 but natural with the AR. Her BF looked right at home with the 74.
Tammy could definitely be an Israeli Commando Chick for Halloween. |

She actually shot the AR first, by the time she got to the '74, she was tiring and having a harder time holding the rifle up. I'm sure she'll improve with some range time. She also has a bad shoulder injury from having it dislocated and not quite properly "relocated". I suppose if someone wanted to donate an IDF shirt or something we could see what we could do.........................

Damn! I take a week off and look what happens! I am sorry to hear that Tammy is leaving! I hope this is for "good" reasons. Any way! Good luck Tammy! Don't forget to stop by the shop to say hello!
I enjoyed the Tee shirt, but I really liked the white spaghetti strap number that was under it! You really have a keeper Mr. "Evil Clown"! Those were some darn nice photos Templar! Keep up the good work! Respectfully yours, One Rusty Nut. |

After the second magazine.....the temperature was in the upper 90's to start with and everything got hot quick. Besides, I like my tactical work glove  .
