I think it was for when I used to play in the field behind our house and he would sneak up in the hedgerow and snipe me with his BB gun, LOL ... Actually, I severely hurt my back a couple of years ago and had to sell off most of my badass collection to pay bills and such. I don't think he liked seeing me without my armory ... I told him ya can't just give someone something like this, LOL ...

It had the standard issue, I like this one better ...  EDIT: I really like the way the Ergo feels but it won't tighten down enough without bulging the sides out. I'm going to put the original back on ...

That's just a 24mm adapter(I was going to use the ARM1 on the Maadi project) but the original flash hider was never pinned and came it in with the clear 30 rounder. Do you know if they made any of these in a no ban configuration ??? |

The SA-M5R is the no-ban version of the SA-M5S. Unfortunately, Arsenal discontinued production of the milled 5.56mm rifles recently.
Hopefully they will start production again, possibly next year. The 7.62 receivers are their priority now, but man, those milled 5.56mm rifles shoot like a damn house a' fire!

I really like the way the Ergo feels but it won't tighten down enough without bulging the sides out, I'm a little bummed out about that. I'm most likely going to put the original back on ... I might get another Bulgy one and have it shot with Rhino Hide. The TDI's are nice but I don't like finger swelts... |
