Skip the special tool if you only need windage, use a C-clamp and 2 small sockets to drift.
WASR10 is the locap, narrow mag well version, can be modded to a hicap, double stack wide mag well |

Thank you for the fast responses. Sorry for the double post but I got a window where I thought it wasn't taking the post at first.

Then the cheap steel special tools are not better. Since I'd expect PB Blaster to strip finish, use penetrating oil to unfreeze the drum.

Ok, I put penetrating oil on the drum, both sides and inside the sight base. It ramained there for about three hours and I tried to move it again and this time it popped over. Hope it is in the right place because I don't think there is much control over how far the drum pops.
