Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - do ak rifles break?

i am thinking about getting some spare parts for my rifle but i don't know what to get. are there any parts that break or ware out?

I would just buy a complete parts kit from ORF or K-var.com while the prices are reasonable. In the future I can defenitly see the ban of parts kits.

Probably the part that would wear out the quickest or break would be.......umm......I really dont know.

Would recommend for any firearm, spring kit, and firing-pin.

I think it would be pretty difficult to break the ak rifle.  The weakest point is probably the receiver.
