That is about what you should expect from any AK outside of the high dollar exotics, at least in 7.62X39, the 5.45 and 5.56 AKs will get you the accuracy you are looking for. The AK is designed as a fighting rifle, and it is good at its job, it was just not engineered to be much of a bench rest rifle.

Go with 5.45, I told it has gereneraly better accuracy then the 7.62x39 round, which IMHO is a horrid little thing, poor accuracy, poor range, poor hit power ant its still rather heavy.

Two rounds of 5.45 test results turned in 2-3 MOA results with Barnaul and Wolf FMJ.

Hmm 7.62x39 will regulary take down deer size game and you want to go with a 5.45?
