Why would you buy one without a folder and brake if you want those features, they are available now.

You can buy a Romanian SAR-1 with an underfolder and a FH for about $350. Check out Shotgun News for the importers that have them on sale. I think all of them get the SARs from Century, but I'm not sure.
The SAR-1 is 7.62x39, which goes for about $70 - $80/1000 rounds of Wolf. It seems to be the cheapest ammo compared to 5.5.6 (.223) and 5.45. With ammo so cheap, its not unusual to shoot up a case on a weekend. Unlike my AR, my AK only needs to be cleaned every 3K rounds or so. |

I considered getting a wsar-3 which shoots .223's. Can't decide if I wanna do that or spend twice as much and get a nice bushy ar15.
Since you have both....which you like better? I am assuming the ar15 is much more accurate. |

Well, I don't lack evil rifles, I just lack an ak style one.
What's a krink pistol? And I'm torn between the 7.62X39 and the 5.45X39. Can't hunt anything with them in Pennsylvania, so I just plink with these things. If I lived somewhere I could use one of my ar-15s, well, that would be my varmit gun for sure. Also, my goal isn't to spend $800 dollars on an ak-47/ak-74. |

If you want a round similar to the 5.56 but in an AK pkg, then get a 5.45 gun. If you want 30cal 125gr slams in trade for a round that drops 4" from 150-200yds and faster after that, and accept 1" larger groups, then we can type back at you on 7.62x39 options. And for heavy duty ammo in 7.62x54r you can get milsurp at 10 cents a shot if you are willing to clean up after corrosive ammo.
