Thursday 9/16/04 was a day to take my new Krinkov, my AK-74, and my Bushy (preban BTW), invited a friend who I took to Pop Dean's, a lot of the So. Fla. shooters knew and remember Pop, a retired Broward firefighter. I fired the Krink first, Just shouldering the weapon was a new feeling, it wasen't bad but I prefer a wood stock. The SBR Krink was Troy built at Inrange and I wanted to break it in, I fired about 200 rounds and only had one jam, but it happened on the first mag and did not happen again

With the Krink I was more concerned with functionality than accuracy, on my next range report I will post about where it shoots...here is my shooting buddy with my Krink SBR from another angle

Here is a close-up of my Krink folder SBR, I prefer the side folder to the underfolder, all in all a nice weapon to hold and shoot....

Here is my pal's Tommy gun, semi auto, gotta say it's a hunk of metal and wood, and all that for the .45 auto round. Gotta say after watching the Band of Brothers DVD I found a newfound respect for the guys that lugged that monster all day.....

The tee shirt I am wearing is what my girlfriend's brother gave me in trade for an Inrange tee. He is a swat member of the police force in Rio de Janeiro, He gave me the tee with the condition that I would not wear in in Brasil for my own safety, now that I have found a better image hosting site I will post pics of my one on one competition with Rio's top sniper.....

cobra-ak awesome pics!   Love that Krink.

But it has to be known I have a warm feeling for that 1927A1 Thompson you got there. I have one myself with the violin case and a 50rd drum.

You know that Auto Ordnance (Kahr Arms) will start selling new 50rd drums again now that the ban dropped.

Once again Killer pics!!!

Looks like you had a good time out there! Nice guns as well!

Lots of finger on the trigger action going on in those photos though. Better watch that stuff, accidents do happen.

Always follow the 4 rules of firearms handling and I add a couple of more like dropping the hammer on all weapons after making sure they are unloaded, when the range is cold there would have to be 3 actions to have a live weapon, one loading a "loaded" magazine, charging a round and then pulling a trigger. will take the next pics with a stiff finger next time. Sorry.

You guys ever heard of picking up your empties?

Totally ignoring the reloading prospects, there are hundreds of dollars worth of scrap brass lying there!

A clean range is a happy range.     If some newsie gets a photo of that mess, it makes gun owners look bad.     Suggest you help organize a range cleanup day.

Looks like you had fun, though.

CJ

Well, no range is perfect, actually you got a lot of guys shgooting full auto out there a lot, the brass gets cleaned up just not as often as lot of guys would like it.

Ya, I thought he looked a little girly silly as well. Must be some new tactical stance. I like the mag holding as well.  What would Governor Arnold call it?
