I just tried mine out a few days ago took it back off, but yes the screw is too short, I cut it myself though.

Ace hardware has assorted lengths so you can pick the right ones without the need to cut. The cost about $.30 and no cost for shipping.

Out here in rural Idaho we have 5mm screws of varying lengths but not w/a head that will fit the tang holes properly (sigh...). Tomac |
