Probably so that the shooter can still charge the weapon even if the stock is folded. |

Might make it a little easier, but with a regular bolt handle and a Romanian side folder the bolt can be worked without trouble, as well as the safety and mag catch. Maybe it is an attempt to make it a little more convient for a left handed firer? |
