yes. that is an identical belgian browning hi-power model "gp" or "competition" pistol to the one i picked up.
i need the front sight/bbl. weight blocl that you see at the front of the bbl. in the bottom pic (laying on target with slide locked back).
lou horton imported less than 500 of these "gp" models back in 1978.
when introduced, they were poorly received and sales were s;ow. i was told lew wholesaled the last of them off in batches just to be rid of them.
i hear they are very accurate. one friend, who knows a lot abot h-p's, said the rear sight was not too good. i suspect it's sheet metal construction put some folks off, but mine is very tight and seems to be servicable.
i spoke with a fella in mo., yesterday, that is a parts source recommened by browning....he could not help me.
