Yes Hoppy, there is a whole nother side to the place. You will find names here that in fact never post on the AR side. Welcome to the darkside. Its easy to get here but impossible to leave.

Welcome Hoplite. I started on the AR side, but once I found out I could buy and trick out (or not) a quality AK for the price of a SIR mount and a sling, I've been hooked!

WARNING: AKs are just as addicting as ARs. I'm a new comer to the 'dark side' and ordered my second AK last week. I didn't know this side existed either but I'm damn glad it does!

People who enjoy cases of 5.45 ammo for about 10 cents a shot, getting 2.5moa with a weapon that needs little more care than a stone axe, and who still probably enjoy their ARs anyway.

I have 5 AR's to pick from at work, and the keys to the ammo locker. So why would I buy one. But my AK is a different matter. It's just so damn much fun to shoot, that you have to own at least one for yourself.
