I tried to soothe what I thought was a childish game between these boards, where I have friends on both sides. I tried to keep this side (and gunsnet) from hopping onto the opposing sides only to take snipes or to insult the general population.

I don't claim to know all that's gone on with gunsnet, there are parts of it I didn't agree with - and I made my voice known. But, there has been a whole lot I DO KNOW the story on (some of which you guys have no fucking clue), and what I can distill at this point is that this camp is a bunch of petulant, arrogant and rude motherfuckers.

I like alot of people on this board, and enjoy some of it - but this forum in particular is an outhouse of bad-feelings festering in the bellies of small people.

it's only a temporary thing, sir. this laughter has ebbed and flowed for 4 years. it will continue to do so across many boards on the internet for years to come.

Aknutz was the first gunboard I joined.  It WAS a neat place and very useful in spite of the then owners lack of time and resources.  When it was taken over by the mentally ill it lost all that made it great except the good people who were members.  Shortly, the mentally ill began banning people, removing the one resource they had left.

Not only were the inmates in charge of the asylum THERE but they spread their lies and disease out to other boards that threatened their revenue stream.  It REALLY IS all about money to them.  

I would be happy if I never heard of them again, if their minions never went to other boards to cause trouble.  They refuse to have the decency to do that so they are fair game.  When one deals with the mentally ill and the dishonest, one has a difficult time being polite.  A little like a cop trying to remain above it all when he deals with the dregs of society every day, wallowing in the sewer of humanity.

I still have a troll account there though I never post.  I find it better to not read the drivel posted by those that still require treatment.  Most of the good guys post here or other boards so I do not feel I am missing much and it keeps my blood pressure FAR lower!
