They should be real glad that there were not 5 other cops with guns drawn. Had there been there would have been atleast 75 shots fired. On the good side though, all 75 shots would have missed. Im really starting to think the citizens would be best served if most cops carried the 1972 state trooper special AKA a .357 revolver.

Oh yeah, give the ninnies a more powerful weapon to miss thier targets with, so instead of a 9MM flesh wound on innocent bystanders, you get lethal shots.

You bring up an interesting point. Remember all that B.S. about how troopers and cops were being "outgunned" because they were still carrying the supposedly "lowly" .357 magnum revolvers instead of these wonder 9's?

I have a S&W Performance Center Model 627 revolver, and it's VERY sweet shooting. With a night sight front, I rather carry that than any Glock or Beretta any time, anywhere.

In the era of the revolver, I belive the cops were more likely to hit what they aimed for, less likely to accidentally discharge, and certainly less likely to spray & pray.

I don't think having a revolver would help control your nerves. When someone loses their nerves, they let fly.
