i use a novosibirsk pso-1, cammed for 7.62x39, on my sar-2.
i zero mine at 100m (109 yards) with the elevation drum set at "1". the side to side offset gives me no noticable parallax errors on steel plates (8" wide) at up to 400 yards. the correction may be built into the windage mechanism (geometric, as opposed to arithmatic). dunno. for elevation i use '1' from 100 to about 200...'2' from 200 to about 400 and '3' beyond 400. |

Just before dark the other day at the range, I tried, but couldn't even get it on paper. I'm sure it's just a newbie problem. I"ll try again when there's plenty of daylight and I'm "fresh". Thanks, slider |

just make 'gross' corrections to figure out which directions the knobs move.
after zeroing, loosen the two screws, slightly, on the knobs...and rotate the windage to zero and elevation to the range you zero'd at. |

Today after work I'm off to range to play with scope some more. Also, FWIW, I was pleasantly surprised that trigger pull is not as bad as I had expected and no trigger slap noticed. I still intend to install RSA FCG and eventually have rifle sent to Informer for complete redo. This is great; after I get AK LEGP in 5.56, I'll have all three calibers.
