ALG.
Much nicer build quality, a little nicer performance, much better safety interface, better Gucci appeal but very affordable. |

I've been happy with the standard FIME trigger. It's a two-stage trigger, which I prefer. Around $35
|

Replacing G2s with them. Think the ALG is overrated and requires too much fitting. Would like to try the FIME Enhanced but haven't gotten around to it yet. |

ALG is awesome compared to the Tapco,
but if you're looking for a crisp break without a ton of trigger movement (think AR), look elsewhere |

I'd like to try the ALG, but they aren't in stock anywhere, and ALG can't say when they're going to be in stock. I like the pull of the TAPCO G2, but am hoping to get a "flat face" trigger for my tacticool AK build since I like this style on my ARs.

I just picked up a Rak-1 threw Atlantic which was the only person who had in stock.

The G2 used to be all the rave.
But they're junk. I had two fail. Disconnector wears out resulting in a trigger that would sometimes hang and only have one stage instead of two. Then after reset .1 lbs of pressure would release and fire. Sometimes it would cause unintentional bump fire. Not safe. That and it chews the bcg tail/cam up due to the profile. The reason I originally dumped my G2s was that the one in my Saiga .223 had such poor disconnector engagement and wear to disconnector claw, that I was able to make it reliably burst doubles or triples by just lightly pulling the trigger. The first time it happened at the range I thought, huh weird. Then did it again and again. Packed up and left once people started looking |

I don't like the appearence of the ALG. A traditional style trigger would have been great, and they were going to introduce one three years ago.

I don't have the standard one to compare against, and I haven't done live fire yet, but my initial impressions from dry fire are good. It reminds me of an M1 Garand. The first stage creep is longer than an M1, but the second stage is pretty crisp with little creep. |
