You would need to drop your imported parts count to 10 to be legal.

Assuming you don't live in a banned state (which it appears you do not), you will need to add 5 US made parts to be compliant with a milled receiver AK. Any combination of 5 US mfg parts :hammer, trigger, disconnector, a stock, pistol grip, handguard set, piston, or muzzle device. Because a stamped AK type has trunions you'll need to add 1 additional parts for a total of 6.

Or find someone with a 90 degree head on the mill or a broach. It is a nightmare trying foxture the receiver for a vertical mill, and it took me all day to do it with a hand file. |
