Been here a while, and have never seen the issue addressed directly. My build is a Rom. 76 without the "G". It was a parts kit with all numbers matching, excellent bore, etc. I understand the "Guard" guns were typically very lightly used, but this Romy was mint also. Are the non "G" s more or less sought after than the "G" s?

a non-g / non-export romanian kit brings a little more than a guardia kit, especially if it's an older kit, the 60's kit's are getting really hard to find and still command a pretty high price. most of the g kits were either like new or barely used, most of the non-g kits have seen use, some quite a bit.

Take a close look at your site base...it almost looks like the G was milled off.
The G's where semi-auto only. No full auto, so they are typically in better shape since they didnt get any mag dumps from fired up 19 years olds. Seems the .gov didnt trust the Guardia with real weapons. |
