Gah, my eyes! Ze goggles do na'sing!
J/k, do what you want, it's your rifle after all. Just be careful posting Tapco plastic furniture on this board. If you're posting polymer, just make sure it's K-Var...
Tapco plastic is like a moped....

Looks nice to me...I've heard some of those Tapco forearms do easily overheat and melt....some don't...I'm curious about how well the sliding stock holds up under the recoil of the AK-47 as well..Hopefully you will still be around after all the flack you get about putting "AR parts" on an AK....Good-Luck!

You have just done basically the one thing that ever starts a pissing contest on the Dark Side - post an AK with AR stuff on it.
My condolences.
p.s. I don't have anything against it.

I have the handgaurds on a MAK 90 and after three mags th HG's start getting flimsy feeling, I think one mor emag through and they would have melted.
6 mags through got the woodies to start smoldering.

I have the wood still. I planed on cleaning up the wood and putting on a clear coat on them to reinstall lator on when I get bored with the plastic stuff.
I put the ar15 stock on there becouse it does not get in the way like a folding stock does. It's kinda like having the best of both worlds. Gator.
