Rifle: Mak90 in .223

Mags:  1 Black Bulgy.223, 4 Smoke/Clear bulgy .223

These mags are tight !  They take way to much fighting and jiggling to get them to lock in.  I read in another thread that you can sand down the outer edges of the mags to loosen them up.   My question is what kind of sand paper should one use?  (Grit power)  I'd prefer to not scrape the holy hell outta my mags to get them to fit.  What can I use that will leave a smooth surface on the plastic of the mags

Thanks in advance,

JS
