I was just browsing around and I saw that Wolf was making .223 brass cased ammo. Way to expensive though.  Running $209/1000.

I don't believe Wolf actually makes.  I hear they outsource it from another mfgr.

The days of cheap ammo are behind us.

I heard it is supposed to be equivolent to US military ball, but I'll believe it when I see it. Hopefully Wolf will continue to make cheap .223 ball and sell the "performance" stuff seperately. Problem is the Wolf performance ammo ends up costing as much as US made military run off. I'd rather buy the .223 military stuff from ammoman.com than the "performance" wolf .223.

The wolf 223 "mil-spec" grade is made in either Bosnia or Serbia. It's good ammo, but not in-expensive like regular Wolf.

Its good stuff. M193 5.56 NOT .223
Its not XM193 regular old M193
