If I were to buy Wolf ammo at a gun show or through snail mail, is it military style? What I mean is does it have the laquer or whatever they use to make the casings water resisitant? If not, what brands do this?
I live where it is wet.

All of the Russian ammo is laquer costed with the exception of the "colored" bear ammo brands. You will have no problem with any of it.

My Wolf casings stay ok in humidity here in GA.
I try to keep it in ammo cans though.

I've seen a run on it at cheaper than dirt and one I can't think of at the moment. I'm just not ready to buy yet since I don't have the rifle. Goin' shopin' tomorrow. It was on 7.62 and not sure if that's what I'm ending up with.
