Who makes 7.62x39 that can be shot at an indoor range? I'm sure it's going to be pricier than the steel-case/steel-jacketed stuff. Sometimes it's just not possible to shoot outside, like when it's 5º.

If you can find it the Yugo surplus has a non steel jacket, but most has dried up. Other than that anything made in the US; Federal, Winchester, etc. Not cheap but non steel jackets. Privi Partizian may make a non steel jacket load also. I went shooting last week in -5* F with -22* F wind chill, I love it, make you feel alive.
