I went to order and they have a bunch which do you guys use the most, or recommend?

I was probably going to just order the Matte or Combat, but thought I would check to see if there was a default "black" that was common to the AK you build.

No experience here, but I have seen posts of (AKs) with the semi-gloss and it looked good.

You can adjust the glossiness of the black by using more or less hardener.
So if you get the matte black, you can make it semigloss or glossy if you want.

Parker is parker, nowhere near black. Looks like slightly greenish parkerizing. I've used it, gives a nice contrast with black.
I'd assume "Colt Gray" is clearly gray too, not black.

Park doesn't look right to me.  Definately a Grey-Green

I have all of my AKs and half my magazines in HK.  It looks beautiful.  I should probably buy and HK and do it in HK black lol.

The rifle was built a shooter, but matte black was satisfactory. If your looking to keep it a safe queen, you may wanna try another kind of black. Here are a few pics of refinishing of an SLR 95 using Combat Black, enjoy.
