A fellow board member drove quite a distance yesterday to have me help with afew builds. after working for hours on these kits,we could not complete them. rivet sets that he bought from the EE were too large in diameter to use. and I don't think drilling outthe trunnion and rear tang are an option. I don't want to name the seller, I just want to know if anyone else has had this problem?

If they were the 3/16" rivets, they would have to be turned down a bit to get it close to the 4mm diameter rivets used on these builds.  Atleast, that is what I had to do to the long rivets that I purchased from McMaster-Carr.

A file and hand drill would have solved the problem.
