What would be a fare price for a gunsmith to charge to replace the gasblock on an SAR-1, thread the barrel, and install a slant break?....

Or how much should they charge to replace the entire barrel, and headspace it?....

There really isnt any set price. Some shops have a minimum shop fee. Guys who just build AKs have more specific rates. Best bet is to e-mail or call around and ask. Start with Chris Butler at AKUSA.
