Thanks for all the input guys...
So are the Double Hooks wider, taller, etc? What requires the modification, hammer, trigger? It seems that the Double hook is a better way to go since there is more metal to metal contact where it's critical... right? |

You do not modify the FCG, you simply add a additional notch to your receiver.
Many of the US made blanks and receivers are already notched to accept a double hook trigger. |

Look at the opening for the trigger in this flat.
See how the front is notched on both sides? This will accept either a SH or DH FCG. Flats/Receivers with notch on left side only can only be used with SH FCG's
