Does anyone here happen to have some suggestions where I can find a receiver for a Czech Vz-58? I building from a kit and the receiver is all I need. I don't think it uses a standard AK receiver. Thanks in advance!!

OOW makes the milled rec and US aprt that you need...It is however 700-800 dollars...

the vz-58 receiver is not cheap.

the receiver kit is 8 bones.

This would be a great rifle for Us to build...But that damn Rec. is way too much.....

Yes, it is very expensive, and for good reason. I got a chance to look inside a vz58 receiver, and it is nothing like the milled ak receiver. Very complicated! It must of taken up 1 hell of a lot of machine time to manufacture that item.
The kit sellers should let people know that their vz kit is going to cost a lot of money to build! I almost bought 1, luckily I saw a post about them on GUNNUTZ
