I just picked up a TiN bcg and before I lube it up and put it in my rifle I figured I'd double check and make sure CLP is safe to use on the finish? I've heard hoppes is not recommended for some finishes.

Hoppes has Ammonia in it.
Finishes such as Nickel can start to peel if left on it too long.

You will be fine with CLP.
