Has anyone used the new Hoppe's Elite Bore Gel or Elite Gun Cleaner?
Do they contain ammonia? Are they Chrome Bore safe? Are they a big improvement over #9?

Its Mpro-7 under the Hoppe's label.No ammonia and safe for chrome.Its good safe stuff.I like Old #9 and use it often so Im kinda biased.Personally I think #9 works just fine and is a mild copper solvent.The Mpro-7/Ellite is just a powder solvent.

i have and use the hoppes elite gun oil. I like it alot and use it to clean the bolt carrier. i add a couple of drops to my boresnake before i run it through to. i like the stuff. but i still have and use the old 9 too. bt the all around stuff is use is the clp break free

I use Hoppes Elite Gun Cleaner with the #9 solvent and it works great.
