With ANY of the ammoniated copper solvents, use a nylon brush.
Just take a whiff to determine if it is in fact ammoniated.
Butch's Bore shine, Sweets, Shooters choice copper solvent, Hoppes copper solvent, and in general, any and all liquid solvents that claim to be a copper solvent are ammoniated.
the rest go ahead and use the bronze or brass bristle brushes, and then show them some love by a quick dunk in a bottle of Isopropyl alcohol afterwards.
They will last longer. But then Brushes are CHEAP!!
I dunk em so as to avoid any posible reactivity between solvents, and well..... flatly, cuz I tend to be an anal retentive FREAK about cleaning the firearms.
Best of luck with the Otis system!
