I've asked this question to other AR shooters with various opinions. Is it worth all the hassle of cleaning between single rounds during the "break in" stage? I know about the less fouling issue. But I never did this with my stainless bolt rifles, or with match grade m14 rifles, of which served well in Pac-Fleet matches. I put 50 rounds through a new stainless Bushy after assembly without the "break in". It seemed to clean up fine.
Opinions?

I know of no compelling proof that it either does or does not have merit.
