Since I shoot moly coated bullets in my competition AR, I use Kroil to clean the barrel. I also use Kroil on other areas as it really eats up carbon deposits.

Kroil is not only an EXCELLENT penetrating oil but also aids in removal of lead deposits if you shoot cast bullets.
Flitz is a good brass cleaning aid in the tumbler. |

I use Kroil to clean suppressors...I bought the gallon can of it and decant a quart into a Mason jar, submerge the suppressor and leave for a week. Blow out with a compressor.
It's so penetrative I don't think I want it near my guns. I think it'd kill primers pretty efficiently, plus it STINKS! |
