I got today a polymer lower together with the stock and buffer tube and after compressing the spring there's hardly any space left for the bolt carrier to complete it's backward journey maybe 2 inches short . kind of the stock blocked .any explanation please?

+1 Cav Arms lowers use Carbine Buffer & Springs!

the spring is 12.5inch and the buffer is 6 inch long .now are these carbine or rifle?
