I have just purchased an YHM flip up rear sight know when used in conjunction with a aimpoint where should both be zeroed in at.

Never mind I have found it
they say 50 yards.  Know what is the advantaged of 50 compared to 100 or even 25yards?

25 yards is still in "sight over bore" range.....50 yrds, is good to about 200yards....over that, sight at 100 yards. Hope that helps.
