Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - charging handle latch pin walking out

I installed a PRI Big Latch, and noticed that after a while the roll pin I used to install the Big Latch keeps creeping up or down out of the charging handle and scraping the finish from the upper or lower when it hits them . . any tips? Should I replace the pin, or is there some trick I can try?

I tried putting some blue loc-tite on the pinhat

I always keep spare roll pins for just this reason.......... they can get compressed and it is just easier to replace them.......then to try gimicks with them.

I have a spare roll pin for every one listed in the AR15
