I have a Colt AR15A3 lower that has a red tint to it.  Does anybody know why is does not look grey?

I have used Breakfee but I did not get it new.  My buddy says it looks like the finiish has came off.

You guys are messin' with gullable me right?

Man I hope so. I hope that its not some weird chemical reaction that the uniform cleaners use and the firearm lube. Kinda like don't mix/store amonia and commet together in same cupboard.
