What is the difference between a PSA FREEDOM barrel and a non FREEDOM Barrel.
Who/what is FREEDOM? Who makes these FREEDOM Barrels?

freedom is mid grade.

Usually not chrome lined. Usually made in 416 stainless or 4150CMV and melonited.

The one I have seems very well made. Would buy again.

They are a step above PTAC, and a step below PSA Premium and PSA CHF.

I bought a 16" Nato SS barrel (with F/S and Delta ring) - It is quite nice and has FREEDOM stamped on the barrel. Now I understand.
