I just received an advertisement for Anderson lower receivers, stripped, for $39.95 each plus shipping.

Does anyone here have any experience with Anderson lowers??

Seems to cheap to be true.

There have been many sold in this area. People all seem happy. I'm tempted to get a few after seeing that price in the e-mail.

They are able to sell them so cheap because of all the money they saved on free advertising......

only issue I know of was they were missing roll pin holes for the bolt catch in one batch they let out.
mentioned here.

I have together 30 in the last several months. Every one of them has worked flawlessly and has been free of defect.

i just got 2 Anderson stripped lowers the other day. The finish on them look great. They look better than some of my other lowers that i have paid about 100 bucks for. I bought mine for 50 each, which still is not a bad deal.

Not really a con for me but maybe for some, they do not put the safe/fire markings on the right side.

They are good, the price point is awesome.  The huge roll mark is hideous.

They also make an A3 upper without a forward assist and dust cover that I like.

Heard nothing but good things about them on here, I am tempted to by the price...just not crazy about the horse head thing.

I have had good luck with them also. They have that spring for the bolt catch you need to drill out. I heard it was because when they got their ATF letter they didn't have it in the sample they sent so they aren't able to put them in.

For 39.99 I would jump all over that.

Just got an Anderson lower and upper the other day. Fit and finish were as good or better than any lower ive used. Went together fine. Has the least upper lower play ( not that it matters) of all my AR's.  Rollmark is not as Tacticool as some but for the price it can't be beat.

Built my 10.5" pistol AR on an Anderson lower. No issues. I built up a Bushmaster stripped lower last night. The finish on the Anderson is nicer.

Bought a blem lower for my 300 Blackout Pistol build - I can't find the blem.

Only thing people don't like about them is that raging horse rollmark.

Where can I get them for 39??

I don’t see them for 39 …. they’re 45 on their site for 80%’s … zero markings on 80’s

You're one of the crazy hooligans that wasted a tax stamp on an Anderson lower too?  I did it on two of them!  On that ugly rollmark?!!

Bought mine with integral trigger guard a while back, from an FFL I've known for 20 years, before I ever heard of ARFCOM. Went together good, no slop, mags drop free and easy. 800-900 rds so far. No problems. Love it even more now that I know marketing people pissed on each other over it. AIM is a paid advertiser here, so I think Anderson is GTG now.

Sorry, meant to post my Anderson FrankenRifle. Fixed that now, but left the cat there too, as both are good for hunting RATS!

some people like the my little pony rollmark

Looks like the new batch have the Anderson logo below the horse instead of above it.

Anderson lowers are Cerro forge, fit perfect with my Cerro upper.

Why did you mention "Cerro forged"?  Is there another type.  School me on this, please.

Cerro forge uses the keyhole mark. while there are no guarantees in life, both my upper & lower were cast at the same place so its almost like having a matched pair.

You can see the mark by the brass deflector & behind trigger. you are welcome to read up on forge marks for more info, its pretty well documented here.

I have three Anderson lowers built out and they are GTG. The price is great and I don't mind the horse head logo (although it does remind me of the Jordache Jeans logo from the '80's).
