Hey all,

I just finished (well, waiting on an MOE middy handguard) a new build.  This is my first build for myself.  It took me about 40 minutes total to complete it as is.  I have seen others do builds, and have "helped" but all my other AR's have been store bought complete rifles.  Here are the specs.



Spikes Tact. Lower (painted by me... I was bored and I think it turned out ok. what do you guys think???)
Spiked LPK
BCM BFH 16" Middy upper
BCM BCG
BCM Gunfighter charging handle latch (installed after picture)
Troy/BCM fde  Flip-up rear
Eotech 512
Vltor modstock or MOE stock (still unsure)
MOE grip
Spikes ST-T2 buffer
MOE middy hanguard (when it gets here)

Thought?

FWIW, I sold a Bushy A2 with AK74 break and a glock laser sight to build this rifle ––-  including the eotech, I only spent $163.20 more than what I sold that stuff for...  I obviously haven't shot it yet, but I hope I will be pleased with the new setup....

Haha... I love it.  Couldn't wait until it was done to post pics... i know that feeling.  I am chomping at the bit to finish up my latest to take pictures too!

thanks... I will post some better pics when its done.  I didn't want to break out the camera for this quite yet though.  Cell phones pics easier to upload.

BCM-556, how tight is that Magpul MOE stock? Any slop in it? I just got one but haven't put it on since I don't have a tube yet. Thanks...

The MOE stock is actually a lot better than the m4 stock (crapco???) that came with the buffer tube kit i bought.  It still has minimal rattle, but all stocks on a tube will have some.
