Whats the best way to trade a ban compliant stock from a Bushy for a non compliant one? EE or what. I have one that is pinned and in like new condition but her in FL I don't need BAN compliance. M4quadrail

Yeah, throw it on the EE, and offer to trade. Might be somebody in a ban state willing to trade a barrel from a kit. If not, sell it, and buy one that hasn't been pinned.

Or, of course, you can always un-pin it, and put whatever you want on it.

Not if it's a Bushmaster factory pinned stock.  It will be mounted on a rifle length buffer tube.  Also, if it's a home-made pin job, that someone from a ban state did, and they did it right, it's not going to come unpinned or if it does, it will be damn near destroyed/useless.


I'd recommend the OP go with your first bit of advice........throw it on the EE and hopefully a ban stater will buy it.
