I want to use the POF predator rail forend, on a 16" barrel (heavy) and a mid length gas system.

what are my barrel options if I want a mid length gas  system? (16" heavy barrel) (manufacture,?)

Does the POF hand guard use their own gas block, do you need a special one?

IIRC the pof will work with a low profile gas block. As for a mid length gas system and heavy bbl, check out CMMG.
